WELLCOME TO THE NORDICS / THE NORDICS OPEN

Share Post:

Figure skaters from 11 countries are participating in The Nordics and The Nordics Open, which will be held at Hvidovre Skating Arena from January 28 to February 1.

The Nordics is open for Advanced Novice skaters from the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The competition is held alternately between the Nordic countries and is, among other things, a very good first competition for the youngest skaters to meet peers of the same age from other countries.

The Nordics Open is for junior and senior skaters from around the world, and here the competition points for each skater count towards the world ranking, which can secure spots for the World Championships in March. In total, 81 skaters are participating, with Finland having the largest team of 27 skaters.

The competitions start on Thursday, January 29. Admission is free.
